The Bard on Broadway. William Shakespeare

The UL Lafayette Opera Theatre, under the direction of Shawn Roy, will present its fall musical production, The Bard on Broadway. William Shakespeare was a huge influence in many forms of entertainment, but this show looks at his influence over Musical Theatre. With actors in period costume, singers in modern dress and an appearance by Shakespeare himself, this will be a lively, fun-filled celebration of The Bard! The show will feature of cast of UL Lafayette voice and theatre majors.

Performance dates are October 24 and 25 at 7:30PM and October 26 at 3:00PM in Burke-Hawthorne Theatre on the UL campus. Please call 482-6012 for more information. General admission is $15, senior citizens and UL Lafayette alumni are $5 and UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff are free with valid UL ID.
