Lafayette Police Conduct Community Walk

Lafayette, LA- Lafayette Police Department along with the LPD Community Relations

Committee will be conducting a community walk in the Rue Royale neighborhood in the 1200

block of E. Pont Des Mouton Rd. on today June 10, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. We will gather before the

walk at Brown Park Recreation Center located at 1234 E. Pont Des Mouton Road. Chief Toby

Aguillard, Deputy Chief Reginald Thomas along with LPD Command Staff and Police Officers will

be walking the neighborhood to visit with residents, listen to any concerns and introduce

ourselves. We invite the community to join us, meet with officers and walk the neighborhood

with us as we continue in our efforts in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the

community.
