AOC is searching for guest blog columnist!

Want to make a statement in your community? Have people told you that your writing makes an impact? Do you have an important topic that you would like to write freely about and share it with the AOC blog readers? If the answer is yes to all of these questions, then this is a great opportunity for you! We are recruiting volunteer writers to be a one-time guest blog columnist in our blog series.

Guidelines are:

• Must be relevant to AOC audience.

• Article should be 350-450 words in length.

• Submit a headshot of yourself to accompany article and any photos that are relevant to the content of the blog. (There is no guaranty that photos will be used)

• Allow AOC to tag the author, on social media if you have a Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram account or must be willing to share article on your own pages.

• Articles must be original content by author.

• Commercial content not allowed.

• Must sign an AOC Producer agreement accepting liability for content

• Author must be open to suggested edits by AOC staff members.

• No anonymous or ghost writers will be allowed. Author must be willing to have their name accompany the article.

• No guaranty that submission will be used. It is the discretion of the AOC management to select final article for publication.

• Author will not be compensated. Submissions are strictly voluntary.

• Deadline will be set by AOC Marketing Director and must be adhered to in order to meet publishing timeline. Drafts can be submitted prior to deadline for review.
