Fix It Café will be hosted by the Lafayette Public Library
Do you have an item that needs repair? Don’t toss it out, bring it to the Fix It Café on
Saturday, July 27th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This free pop-up event will be presented by
No Waste Lafayette. The July 27th Fix It Café will be hosted by the Lafayette Public
Library at the Main Library.
Fixers will be available to assess and work on bikes, small household goods, small
appliances, small engines, clothing, textiles, and jewelry. They will do their best to fix
whatever can be carried in.
Enjoy snacks and beverages in a café atmosphere while your item is fixed. Cold coffee
will be provided by Rêve. Witness the skill and creativity of our fixers and join the
discussion about reducing waste by learning to repair.
