2020-2023 INAUGURATION / SWEARING-IN CEREMONY

JANUARY 6, 2020 FOR

LAFAYETTE MAYOR-PRESIDENT, LAFAYETTE CITY COUNCIL & LAFAYETTE PARISH COUNCIL

Lafayette, LA –The inauguration ceremony for the incoming Mayor-President and separate City Council and Parish Council Members will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Heymann Performing Arts Center located at 1373 S. College Road, Lafayette.  The larger venue allows for more seating.  The public is invited to participate.  The entire ceremony will be broadcast live on Acadiana Open Channel (AOC) and will also be UStreamed live via the internet at:  http://www.ustream.tv/channel/lafayette-consolidated-government-council-meeting

The first Regular City Council and Parish Council Meetings for the newly sworn-in elected officials will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 as follows:

Lafayette Parish Council meeting at 5:00 pm

Lafayette City Council meeting at 6:30 pm

Should a Joint meeting be called, it will be timely posted.  Again, all are welcomed and encouraged to attend the Swearing-In ceremony at the Heymann Performing Arts Center on January 6th at 3:00 pm.
