FOSTER THE LOVE LOUISIANA CELEBRATES THEIR FIRST YEAR

Foster the Love Louisiana is hosting a Family Fun Day event, celebrating their first year of serving Acadiana’s foster community, at Poche’s RV Park in Breaux Bridge. As an organization that serves all 8 Acadiana parishes, they are excited to host this event in St. Martin Parish. They are inviting all Acadiana foster families, DCFS workers, and those individuals and businesses that have made this first year such a great success to attend.

Thanks to a donation from Leading Edge Manufacturing in Lafayette, Foster the Love will be distributing 80 bikes to children in foster care across Acadiana at their Family Fun Day.

“We are so honored to serve our local foster community. It is our privilege to provide support for foster families and help meet the needs of the children in their care. We also strive to show support to Acadiana DCFS workers and thank them for their dedication to children in Louisiana’s foster system,” says Heather Duhon, Executive Director of Foster the Love Louisiana. “It is our goal to continue to improve and increase the support we can offer our local foster community.”
