“We were looking into doing something for the kids in Acadiana to not only be fun but educational. It’s a

perfect mix of play and learning.” said Thomas Gotte, Director of LARC’s Acadian Village. “It is also a great

opportunity for parents to get some last minute school shopping done while the kids are occupied at camp!”

The two camps that are being offered are the following:

Wizard Science- Young Wizards will discover the art of magic through science by exploring molecules, pH,

exploding and imploding and all the silly fun stuff in between.

What Goes Up- From Hoop Flyers to Stomp Rockets, young Newtonian's will be exploring Newton's First law

of physics by engineering, constructing and having silly fun using different designs, materials, and testing their

outcome.

The deadline to register is July 17th and spaces are limited. You don't want your little one to miss out on this

hands-on learning experience! Register today at www.acadianvillage.org.
