Community Wellness Fair to Offer Free On-Site Resources For the Community

Who: United Way of Acadiana, Ochsner Lafayette General, and Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana. 

What: Hosting a Community Wellness Fair with free, on-site resources. 

When: Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 8:30 AM to 12 PM. 

Where: The Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana, 121 S Washington St, Lafayette. 

Why: Connect with your community, explore support services, and receive free on-site assistance.

 

Individuals 12+ can get a COVID-19 vaccination on-site. Other free services include: 

  • SNAP Benefit Support 

  • Rental Assistance 

  • Telemedicine 

  • Prescription Delivery 

  • Senior Social Services 

  • Childcare Assistance 

  • Financial Counseling 

  • Vaccine Program 

  • Medicaid Enrollment 

  • Spay and Neuter for Animals 

The My Community Cares program with United Way of Acadiana is designed to help individuals and families navigate the challenges of obtaining assistance to meet their basic needs. My Community Cares acts as a conduit which connects clients to a network of over a hundred community partners who are readily available to assist with rental and mortgage, medical expenses, educational support, housing, emergency food, mental health, and more.
